Ways To Save A Relationship

We’ve all had our moments in relationships where we just want to walk away!  And, you know what?  These days, it’s so much easier to do that!  Society has made it so easy to give up on marriage/relationships, get out of it and it’s now socially acceptable to be ‘divorced’ or a ‘single mum/dad’.

And that is the whole problem – is that it IS acceptable to just walk away when the going gets tough!  What happened to marriage being a lifelong commitment?  What happened to enduring through the hard times?  How can we learn how to deal with difficult situations if we just get up and walk away?  Not only that, but what is that teaching our children?

I hope that if you are going through a difficult time in your relationship right now, that you will take some time to look over this site and hopefully find something that will help you out.

Am I an expert? Not by a long shot.  I have been married 6 years – we have 2 children (13 mths apart), have certainly been through our very testing times, and there were times when it would have been much easier to walk away….   But, we endured through those times, and though I know there will be more ahead, we both understand that we have a lifelong commitment to each other, and those ‘tough times’ have only made us stronger.

We have learned alot about each other over the 6 years, and will only continue to learn more. I believe it’s all about communication and understanding each other’s needs.  I hope that the information I post on this site may help you through your tough times – and to see that there IS hope… always.
